7:30 PM Take it or Leave it Game Show

Our version of the ever-popular game show "Deal or No Deal".  Each contestant will have the opportunity to win $1000.  Two contestants will pre-qualify at WELD 101.7 Radio Station.  Two additional contestants will be selected the evening of the event.  Listen to WELD to find out all the details on how you can play and win.  Sponsored by WELD, Citizens National Bank and Petersburg, Foodland.

11:15AM CARTOON HEADQUARTERS TO PERFORM

Featuring your favorite character including the Chipmunks, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Elmo, Bert, and Ernie and many more.  This is a live stage adventure where the cartoon characters battle it out to be the number one on Cartoon Idol.  Judges are randomly picked from the audience to be guest judges for the show.  This live stage show is sure to get everyone young and old alike on their feet singing and dancing with special effects and props.  Voted Best Children's Show in WV in 2007.  Sponsored by Sue's Country Kitchen and the Grant County Chamber of Commerce.

Josh comes to us from Quite Dell, WV.  He currently attends Fairmont State University and travels around the state performing at events.  Josh has recorded 4 albums.  He has opened for Sugarland, Shannon Brown and others.  Josh will be performing country music during this session.  Sponsored by Pendleton Community Bank.

12:30 PM - 2:00 PM YOUTH TURKEY CALLING WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

1 hour workshop will include proper instruction in using caller, instruction on different techniques (purring, clucking, etc.) and each youngster gets to take home their own beautiful, handmade turkey call they used in the workshop.  Turkey call is valued at $25.00.  Each enrollee in the workshop will be eligible to participate in the turkey calling contest at 3:00.  Cost is $10.00 per child.  There will be 3 age groups, 5-7 years old, 8-10 years old, and 11-14 years old.  Registration will be held at the pavilion located near the dike.

Located in the pavilion near the dike.  Dish must be healthy - low in saturated fats, high in fiber and affordable.  Start to finish must be 45 minutes or less.  There will be 2 food categories.  First category is for appetizers or entrees.  The second category will be for desserts.  Three age groups.  Prizes will be awarded from the main stage at 2 PM.  Sponsored by the Grant County Schools Health Advisory Committee.  To pre-register and for specific details, contact Tamara Gossard at 304-257-1011, extension 19.

7:00 PM LONESOME HIGHWAY TO PERFORM
